Dashboard Overview
Understanding the main dashboard view and system metrics
The Dashboard Overview is your landing page when you log in. It provides a high-level snapshot of your entire OpsSquad.ai deployment.
System Overview Panel
At the top of the dashboard, you'll see key metrics:
| Metric | Description |
|---|---|
| Active Agents | Total number of agents currently linked and active |
| Online Nodes | Number of nodes currently connected to the platform |
| Squad Health | Overall health status across all squads |
| Credit Balance | Current available credits in your wallet |
Health Indicators
| Status | Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| Healthy | Green | All systems operating normally |
| Warning | Yellow | Some agents or clusters may need attention |
| Critical | Red | Immediate attention required |
Squad and Agent Overview
Below the system overview, you'll find views of your squads and agents:
Squad Cards
Each squad card displays:
- Squad Name - Team identifier
- Environment - Production, Staging, Development
- Agent Count - Number of agents in the squad
- Health Status - Overall squad health
Agent List
The agent list shows:
- Agent Name - Friendly identifier
- Status - Linked/Active, Unlinked, Inactive
- Squad - Which squad the agent belongs to
- Linked Node - Which node (if any) the agent is linked to
- Last Activity - When the agent last performed an action
Quick Actions
Click on any agent to:
- View node connection status
- Link/unlink nodes
- View command logs
- Access configuration
Navigation Sidebar
The left sidebar provides quick access to all dashboard sections:

Real-time Updates
The dashboard automatically refreshes to show:
- Agent link status changes
- Node connectivity status
- Squad health updates
- Credit balance changes
Note: Data refreshes automatically every 30 seconds. You can manually refresh by clicking the refresh icon in the header or pressing
R.
Filtering and Search
Global Search
Use the search bar in the header to quickly find:
- Agents by name or ID
- Squads by name
- Nodes by name or ID
- Recent activity
Keyboard shortcut: Press / to focus the search bar.
Status Filters
Filter agents by status:
- All - Show all agents
- Active - Agents linked and active
- Linked - Agents linked to a node
- Unlinked - Agents not linked to any node
- Inactive - Paused or inactive agents
Filter nodes by status:
- All - Show all nodes
- Online - Connected nodes
- Offline - Disconnected nodes
Common Dashboard Tasks
Check System Health
- Look at the Squad Health metric in the overview panel
- If not "Healthy", click on it to see which squads have issues
- Navigate to the affected squad for detailed diagnostics
- Check node status to ensure connectivity
Link an Agent to a Node
- Navigate to Agents page
- Click on an agent
- In the agent details, click "Link to Node"
- Select an online node from the dropdown
- Confirm the linking
Find a Specific Agent or Node
- Press
/to open the search bar - Type the agent or node name/ID
- Click on the result to view details
View Command Logs
Recent activity is shown in the agent list. For detailed logs:
- Click on an agent
- Select the Logs tab
- View command history from the linked node
- Filter by time range or command type
Dashboard Customization
Dark Mode
Toggle dark mode from:
- Settings > Appearance
- Or click the theme icon in the header
Notification Preferences
Configure which events trigger notifications:
- Agent status changes
- Cluster health alerts
- Billing notifications
Access via Settings > Notifications.
Mobile Access
The dashboard is fully responsive and works on:
- Desktop browsers
- Tablets
- Mobile phones
On smaller screens, the sidebar collapses into a hamburger menu.
